Our mission is to create a thriving and resilient landscape across the Tees Valley, creating woodlands that help tackle climate change, restore nature, and enrich the lives of local communities.
We care about…
- People: creating accessible, high-quality green infrastructure to support wellbeing
- Nature: enhancing biodiversity through habitat creation, revitalising soil, and reducing air pollution
- Climate: nature-based solutions for carbon capture and flood resilience
We work with local and national partners across the Tees Valley, providing free guidance and support to landowners and land managers to help plan, fund, and plant new woodland of all sizes in both rural and urban settings, unlocking countless benefits for people and planet. As part of this, we help deliver Trees for Climate, the Government’s multi-million pound woodland creation programme.
We are proud to be part of England’s Community Forests network, which now forms the biggest environmental regeneration initiative in England.

Support for landowners
We can support a range of woodland creation schemes, whether it be large scale planting, or a low density or mixed habitat scheme, hedgerows, orchards or woodland pasture. Whatever your idea, we will listen, provide advice where you need it, and support you through the whole process of planning, funding and delivering your scheme.
