Tees Community Forest are your local experts in woodland creation, management and landscape restoration, working for people, nature and climate across the Tees Valley.
Our mission is to create thriving, resilient landscapes that tackle climate change, restore nature and improve lives by planting new woodlands, enhancing existing ones and connecting green spaces.

We work alongside you from the first conversation to an established woodland, and we take care of most of the paperwork along the way.

We build a project plan that fits your goals: right tree, right place, right reason. We may also help fund secondary habitats and managed open space.

Stakeholder engagement
We talk to the neighbours and authorities so you don’t have to.

Regulatory approval
We help secure any permissions your project needs.

Project delivery
We help source trees, materials and local tree planters through approved contractors.

Funding
We can fund up to 100% of eligible items, including fencing, no-fence collars and access tracks.
